Launched in 2017, WR Connectors is an initiative of Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre (KWMC) that helps professional immigrants (Connectees) broaden their professional network through one-on-one meetings with established business leaders (Connectors) who work in the same field.
It is a simple yet highly effective networking program that helps newcomers to build a professional network, explore alternative career opportunities and find success in their chosen field. The program also helps local businesses and organizations connect with talented immigrants who want to build a career in Waterloo Region.
For more than 50 years, KWMC has helped newcomers integrate into the community, providing services in settlement, employment, translation and interpretation. The Centre also hosts an annual Multicultural Festival, one of the largest in Canada.
