The Cape Breton Partnership began administering the Connector Program in June, 2017. The Program works closely with Nova Scotia Works, the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services, African Nova Scotian Affairs, municipalities, Immigration Settlement Services and all other business development associations in Cape Breton. The Cape Breton Connector Program matches immigrants, graduates, African Nova Scotians, Aboriginals and persons with disabilities (Connectees) with community and business leaders (Connectors) in their industry of expertise in Cape Breton. The intention is to give the Connectee an understanding of how their industry works in Cape Breton and what opportunities may be available.
